Q: What socket does heatsink system support?
The heatsink system support Intel LGA775/LGA1156/LGA1155-Ivy Bridge&Sandy Bridge socket and AMD AM2/AM3/APU socket. Six heatpipes are untilized for Intel socket CPU. For AMD AM2/AM3/APU socket, four heatpipes are utilized.Click here for details and recommended CPU list.

Q: What type of the 5.25" optical drive is compatible with the chassis
The 5.25" ODD needs to be drawer type with eject button on the bottom right corner. Please see compatibility page for detail requirement.
Q: Could the chassis fit into a standard 19" rack?
Yes, the chassis body is narrower than the interval of the standard rack(451mm/17.75"). The faceplate is wider than the interval.Please goto HDPLEX Dimension illustrated for details.
Q: How is the hard drive mounted, does the chassis support 2.5" HDD/SSD?
The chassis provides bottom mounting for 3.5" and 2.5" HDD/SSD. Anti vibration cushion is installed on bottom mounting hole. You could find how many 2.5SSD/3.5"HDD each chassis is able to support by goto HDPELX Chassis and HDD Compatibility Page
Q: What TDP CPU could I use with the chassis?
For H5/H3 series chassis, we recommend CPU with TDP <=75W. For H10 series, CPU with 125W TDP or lower is fine. Click here for details.
Q: What motherboard does the chassis support?
The H10/H5 series support micro-ATX and mini-ITX. The H3 series supports mini-ITX only. You could put ATX motherboard in H10/H5.S but it is not recommended. Different model within the same series might have different motherboard support list. You could find the full motherboard compatible list for all HDPLEX case here .
Q: Does the chassis support expansion card?
The H10 and H5 series support one full height single slot expansion card via PCI or PCI-E riser. We sell PCIE/PCI riser card under Accessories/Risers The H3 series does not support expansion card. Power hungry video card or expansion card with TDP exceed 30W is not recommended due to the passive nature of the case unless you installed an optional 120mm fan on the bottom plate of the H10/H5 series chassis.

Q: Does your chassis support ATX power supply?
No, our slim profile H series does NOT support ATX power supply. Future full size F series will support standard ATX power supply.
Q: What are the power supply options?
Our fanless chassis support all PicoPSU solution with 5.5/2.5mm DC single pin plug.
We also support AC-DC adapter with 4PIN-mini-DIN connector to couple with PicoPSU 160XT via HDPLEX 4PIN mini DIN adapter cable.
Last, we support standard IEC plug installation on the backplate so you could use any open frame power supply solution.
