HDPLEX H1.S Fanless Computer Case Installation Guide


Please read this H1.S Installation Screw Picture Guide first


Install four feet with rubber cushion to the bottom plate using 4pcs M4x6 flat head HEX screws.








Install Power button and Power ON/OFF PCB on to the right side panel using 2 x M3 post (5mm height). The 2PIN with two black wire is for PWR switch. LED plug has polarity. If blue LED does not light up, turn the LED plug 180 degree and plug back.





Install USB 3.0 PCB on the left side panel using 2 x M3 post (10mm height).





Install the rack on the copper baseplate. Apply a very thin layer of thermal paste to the copper plate and install the copper plate to the motherboard. Use small bottom holder to avoid conflict with motherboard components near the heatsink mounting hole.

Warning: Do not over apply thermal paste as it will decrease heat transfer efficiency.





Install the motherboard to the H1.S chassis bottom plate.





Apply a very thin layer of thermal paste to the heatpipe groove on both side panels using the dumbbell shaped tool. Install both side panels on the H1.S bottom plate.

Warning: Do not over apply thermal paste as it will decrease heat transfer efficiency.





Connect SATA power, USB cable, and SODIMM memory first. Those ports might not be accessible once the heatpipes are installed.



Apply a very thin layer of thermal paste to the copper plate groove using the dumbbell tool.

Warning: Do not over apply thermal paste as it will decrease heat transfer efficiency.



For all Thin mini-ITX motherboard and mini-ITX with 24PIN connector on the front, the six heatpipes are arranged like this:



For mini-ITX motherboard with 24PIN ATX connector on the side, heatpipes are arranged like this:





Install the metal plate to the chassis side panel.



Apply a thin layer of thermal paste on each groove on the aluminum top plate and install the aluminum top plate using 8pcs M3x6 screws.



Install M3 post (5mm height) to the aluminum top plate. Attach the 2.5" SSD/HDD rack on the M3 post using 2pcs flat head screws. Install the SSD/HDD to the rack using 2/4 thumb screws.








If you plan to use a PCIEx1 or PCIEx4 expansion card, install the SSD/HDD rack on the side.





Note: Full height PCIEx1 and PCIEx4 Card conflict with the SSD/HDD rack. When using full length and full height PCIEx1 or PCIEx4 expansion card, H1.S does not support 2.5" HDD/SSD. mSATA HDD is required.



Install the expansion card using HDPLEX PCIEx4 hard Riser (Thin mini-ITX only) or cover the PCI slot by PCI bracket using one M3 screw. The PCI bracket can be bent a little to get a tight fit on the PCI bracket tip side.




Internal IR (optional) Installation Guide

Install the IR sensor (optional) on the back of the H1.S bottom plate using double sided tape.



Plug the HDPLEX PWR switch and IR sensor (3.5mm plug) into the IR Receiver Module







The IR receiver can be installed anywhere in the case using double sided tape.

Power Supply installation Guide


Scenario 1: Using Internal 120W 19V Adapter with Thin mini-ITX

Install the IEC with EMI filter to the backplate and 120W AC-DC adapter to the H1.S faceplate.







Connect Thin mini-ITX 19V 2PIN input with 120W AC-DC adapter 19V output using 4PIN molex cable. Both connectors have lock pins to ensure the correct alignment.

Scenario 2: Using External 19V Adapter with HDPLEX 150W/250W DC-ATX on mini-ITX










Scenario 3: Using Internal 120W 19V AC-DC with 150W DC-ATX Converter on mini-ITX



Plug in the 24PIN-24PIN ATX Cable before connecting the HDD and CPU molex 4PIN Cable !










Scenario 4: PicoPSU or third party power supply solution on H1.S
